Frequently Asked Questions

Here you can find answers to the most important questions about the journey.

Why is there a registration process?

Our rooms are deliberately curated. This means: We pay attention to emotional maturity, communication skills, culture of consent, openness and balance in the group (including between different gender identities). The application process helps us to create a safe, respectful and in-depth space. It is not about excluding someone, but about awareness and responsibility towards the group.

What does "gender balance" mean and why is it important?

Our spaces live by diversity and balance. We make sure that different genders and energetic qualities are roughly balanced in order to enable encounter, trust and tension in a healthy way. This means that we sometimes put registrations on a waiting list until the balance is restored.

Can I come alone?

Yes – absolutely! Many participants come alone. Our formats are designed to make you feel safe, held and connected, even if you don't know anyone.

What should I bring?

Comfortable clothes in which you feel comfortable, openness, self-responsibility and respect for your own and the limits of others. Sometimes there are specific clues (e.g. Clothing, snacks, blankets) that you can find in the registration confirmation.

What happens if I feel sick at short notice or cannot participate?

If you are unable to participate, there is unfortunately no refund or possibility to pass on the place. It is also not possible to participate in the next temple instead of the one where you are sick. This is important because we can plan better and a great organizational effort is associated with it for us. It gives us and you the assurance that everything runs smoothly and that the workshops and journeys can also take place in the future.

How do you deal with sensitive topics such as closeness, sexuality or trauma?

All rooms are inviting, but never mandatory. You always decide how far you want to go. We work in a trauma-sensitive manner, with clear consensus structures and the possibility of saying "stop" at any time.

Are there any photos or videos during the event?

In the Divine Pleasure Journey, absolute photo and mobile phone is prohibited. We open up intimate shelters! Please turn your smartphone into flight mode to give yourself a break. At the workshops: Only with the express consent of all present. In most cases, our rooms are camera-free to maintain intimacy and security.

Is there a dress code or specific clothing recommendations?

It depends on the event: The Divine Pleasure Journey We ask you to refrain from streetwear. This evening is a sensual, artistic and conscious space, also visually. Choose clothes that make you feel expressive, sensual or festive, whether playful, elegant, ritual or simple. It is important that your outfit supports your presence and you can show yourself freely and respectfully. Our rooms are queer-friendly and inclusive, you are welcome to show yourself in the clothes that match your identity and energy. Whether linen pants, harness, lingerie, kimono, chains, glitter, cat outfit, everything is allowed! At workshops Here your body is at the center. Please wear exercise-friendly, comfortable clothing in which you can feel good and move freely. It's not about style, but about presence, security and openness in contact with yourself and others. Something in which you feel comfortable and can move well.

Can we participate as a couple in the workshops or the Divine Pleasure Journey?

Yes, absolutely – couples are welcome. Many come together to explore new forms of closeness, communication and touch. Our formats are designed in such a way that you can both immerse yourself together and have individual experiences. In the Divine Pleasure Journey there may be moments in which you meet other people - always on the basis of free consensus and clear boundaries. You always decide for yourself what feels coherent. The workshops are more about personal processes, self-awareness and awareness in encounter. Here, too, you are welcome as a couple, as long as you remain open to engaging in different exercises and encounters.

Is the Divine Pleasure Journey a sexual event?

The Divine Pleasure Journey is not a sex or swinger party. However, it opens up a conscious space for the whole range of human intimacy - with everything that goes with it: closeness, contact, emotion, sensuality and also sexuality as a natural life energy. The game and research of interpersonal dynamics, lust and passion is an essential part of the experience. You always decide for yourself how deep and intense your experience will be. You decide at every moment what feels right and coherent to you - without any expectations, pressure or goal.

How do I prepare for the Divine Pleasure Journey?

Come with an open, respectful and present attitude. Wear comfortable clothing in which you feel comfortable and can move freely. It can be helpful to think about your own needs, wishes, and limits in advance so that you can communicate them clearly during the event. Please do not appear hungover, under drugs or sick, the room lives on awareness and mutual trust. Come when you are stable, open and good about yourself. If you are currently in a very intense or acute emotional phase, or old traumas are strongly activated, it is better to postpone the participation. The journey is not a therapeutic or psychological space, but a conscious experience space for encounter, body awareness and presence. It is not a therapy substitute.

Are there age restrictions for participation?

Divine Pleasure Journey The Divine Pleasure Journey is usually aimed at people between about 25 and 50 years old. This framework is not a strict criterion, but serves to maintain a harmonious energetic balance and common experience in the room. More important than the exact age is your inner attitude, awareness and willingness to consciously engage in encounter and sensuality. Workshops Our workshops are generally open to all adults from the age of 18, regardless of their level of experience. This is more about self-awareness, communication and body awareness, so the personal development process is in the foreground, not age. However, we also pay attention to a balanced group energy in which everyone can feel comfortable and safe.
